Lumi Studios had been in operation for about 3 years when they asked me to refresh their brand and give it a clean and recognizable logo to use across their multiple business ventures which included photography, videography, and printed media.

They really enjoyed the interconnectivity of the type in their existing logo. I ensured that the interconnected style remained a part of the new identity while improving the legibility and flow of the letterforms.

Lumi Studios is a prominent business voice in Halifax's Chinese community-so the logo was created to be recognizable in both English and Mandarin. All text elements in the identity can easily flow between either language while still providing the same cohesive visual experience for all viewers.
